St Pelagius

When Pelagius was a boy, the Moors ruled the part of Spain where he lived in. The Moors did not believe in God and did not allow anyone else to believe in God either.  Pelagius was a Christian and because of his faith in Jesus he was thrown in prison when he was only ten years old.  No one came to rescue him, so he remained in prison for three years.  When he was thirteen years old the ruler of the Moors told Pelagius he would let him go, as long as stopped believing in Jesus.  Pelagius told the ruler that he would never deny Jesus, so the ruler had him killed.  Pelagius died a young martyr for Jesus.
