Priscilla was married to Aquila, who was a Jewish tentmaker. They were forced to leave Rome when the Emperor, Claudius, kicked all the Jewish people out of Rome. They went to live in Corinth, where they met Saint Paul who told them about Jesus – they became one of the early Christians. After becoming Christians, they traveled with Paul sharing the Gospel. They went to Rome and helped many people learn about God and their house was even used as a Church. They also went to Ephesus and Asia Minor. They died as martyrs, because of their faith in God. St. Paul spoke about them in his letter to the Romans in the Bible (Rom. 16: 3-4) and he loved them very much.
